How to Activate Your Marriott Bonvoy Credit Card
The Marriott Bonvoy Boundless credit card unlocks numerous rewards-earning opportunities with each purchase. Although the program’s terms are subject to change, you’ll earn six points for every dollar spent at participating hotels and double points on all of your other purchases.
This credit card is a Visa® Signature product issued by Chase. You must activate the new account before you can use it for purchases or start earning rewards.
It is essential to activate your card outside of the Marriott Bonvoy rewards program.
Although you can link these accounts, you cannot currently activate your card by going to a hotel, using the rewards app, or talking to those customer service representatives.
Activate Your Marriott Bonvoy Credit Card Online
You can activate your Marriott Bonvoy Boundless credit card by going to the Chase online banking portal.
Start the activation process by entering your username and password in the appropriate fields. Once you’re satisfied with the entry, click on the blue “Sign In” button.
If you have forgotten your online banking login information, click on the appropriate link to retrieve it. You’ll need to go to your inbox to click on the link in the email received to continue the activation process.
When you don’t have a Chase online banking profile, you can sign up to create one to verify that you’ve received your new credit card. Enter your personal details when prompted, including the card information.
Once you’ve completed these steps, you’ll be ready to use your Marriott Bonvoy Boundless credit card.
Activate Your Marriott Bonvoy Credit Card by Phone
If you don’t want to create an online banking profile, Chase still offers a way to activate your new credit card.
You can call Chase’s customer service department at 1 (800) 432-3117. You’ll connect to an automated system that asks a series of questions to verify your identity. Enter the last four digits of your number and follow the additional instructions.
Although the system is automated, you may get directed to a customer service representative to verify specific details about your account. This action happens if a response isn’t clearly understood during the activation process.
A sticker may be on your Marriott Bonvoy Boundless credit card. You can contact the information provided there to complete the activation process.
